Launch of My Job Glasses in !

The Réunion Region and Travail are joining forces to launch My Job Glasses in Réunion. This concept was presented on Wednesday September 18 at the Moca estate. The objective of this digital platform MyJobGlasses.re is clear: to facilitate the discovery of professions and access to employment for Reunion Islanders through concrete connection with professionals. October 1st will mark the launch of MyJobGlasses.re for Reunion beneficiaries.

Meet, share, inspire, support, guide: these are the main objectives of this new concept. Thanks to the My Job Glasses digital platform, professional meetings are made possible to meet the premises needs of the island’s economic players. In this sense, My Job Glasses, France Travail and the Réunion Region have therefore joined forces to facilitate the discovery of professions and access to employment for Réunion residents. It is therefore possible for everyone to interact with professionals, which allows everyone to expand their network, develop new skills, access the hidden job market, discover a profession, know-how or a sector. Participants have the opportunity to contact professionals, called “business ambassadors”, to find their way. These exchanges are essential for developing skills and entering the right sector, with full knowledge of the facts. On Wednesday September 18, the co-founder of My Job Glasses – Emilie Korchia – was alongside the Vice-President of the Réunion Region – Karine Nabenesa – and the deputy regional director of France Travail in Réunion, Astrid Combemore for the launch of this brand new digital platform. For almost 10 years, Emilie Korchia has been committed to giving everyone, regardless of age or professional situation, the same opportunity to be fulfilled in their work, by democratizing meetings with professionals from all backgrounds. The creation of My Job Glasses – the first professional meeting platform in Europe – responds to this desire. And this system is now accessible in Reunion.

On Wednesday September 18, the press conference presenting this new concept on the island was followed by the evening of innovative HR solutions where nearly 200 companies participated and all are potential My Job Glasses “ambassadors”. My Job Glasses also offers turnkey programs. It is now possible on the island to integrate My Job Glasses free of charge into orientation programs and to help students make choices through professional meetings. In total, 82,000 professional ambassadors are registered on My Job Glasses. This concept responds to a real need because according to the National First Job Observatory (Ipsos 2022): “30% of young workers would choose another profession for their first job, if they had to do it again.” The launch of the My Job Glasses platform also aims to guarantee equal opportunities in terms of professional success.
