Paris Saint-Germain are crowned French champions for the twelfth time. For club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, this title is “even more special”.
With Monaco’s defeat against Lyon this evening at Groupama Stadium (3-2), Paris Saint-Germain is crowned champion of France this 2023/2024 season. The capital club won its 50th trophy in its history and its twelfth Ligue 1 title. A performance which did not leave PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, indifferent. In a press release published this Sunday, April 28 on the club’s website, he congratulated the team and the staff for this twelfth title which he considers to be “even more special”.

“Winning the championship is fantastic, but winning Ligue 1 for the twelfth time is even more special for everyone linked to Paris Saint-Germain. This is PSG’s second victory this season, after the Champions Trophy won against Toulouse on January 3 (2-0).
