1 hour from Paris, this cottage in Seine-et-Marne is a paradise for couples, between nature and tourism

One hour from Paris, in a bucolic settingbut also near Fontainebleau or the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomtethis gîte has many advantages to attract customers… For several months, Marion Walker and Benoît Girard have been offering the rental of the gîte Lovely Bleauin the hamlet of La Planche, in Perthes-en-Gâtinais (Seine et Marne).

Lovely Bleau, a “cocoon of well-being in the countryside”

To create this cocoon, this couple completely renovated and converted an old 105 m barn²in the center of a 350 m garden², behind closed doors. Referenced on Booking And AirBnB, this gîte presents itself as a place dedicated to couples who wish to get together in a peaceful setting. But “simple vacations” are also possible.

The building offers large, bright spaces, in a decor that combines both modernity and old-world charm. “It’s a cocoon of well-being in the countryside,” summarizes Marion Walker. On the ground floor, guests can discover a large living room – with pool table – overlooking an imposing bay window and an open kitchen.

Upstairs, the bedroom is equipped a balneotherapy bathtub… At the origin of this project, it was the rental of a room on the specialized rental platform which alerted Marion Walker, who imagined this offer dedicated to lovers.

“There is a real demand for rental in the sector and we imagined this concept, particularly dedicated to couples, with a tailor-made offer,” she continues. Open since October, Lovely Bleau particularly offers services for marriage proposalsof the engagement or even wedding nights.

In addition to accommodation, guests can also experience a range of customizable services : from a bouquet of roses to a path of petals, including banners… “We also offer a musical entrance to welcome couples to the song of their choice,” she continues.

The hosts also offer an on-demand catering service ranging from aperitifs to tasting boards, raclette and pokebowl. Delicatessen products or even local beers are also offered, in addition to the service. For wine lovers, the cottage is also equipped a cellar with an à la carte offer.

“If customers have special requests, we are open to all proposals, as far as possible, the idea is to pass it on an unforgettable stay“, she emphasizes. Lovely Bleau was designed for people looking for a nature break, but is also close to tourist sites like Fontainebleau, Barbizon or Disenyland Paris.

The managers, who have just been listed on the Fontainebleau tourism website, are targeting Parisian and foreign customers, but not only… “We also have more local requests for people who want to take a break, to disconnect,” assures Marion Walker. Price-wise, count on €250 per night on weekends and €180 during the week.
