Labeled as being of regional interest by the Île-de- Region, the building built around 1900 is the subject of a conservation program by the City of (Val-d’Oise), which purchased it in 2003.

The Fondation du Patrimoine, the Française des Jeux and the Ministry of Culture have validated support for the rescue project.

The building is among eight other sites in the region selected by the heritage lottery and the Stéphane Bern Mission, which granted €100,000 for its restoration.

The chalet on stilts has been renovated. The roof has been redone and the woodwork on the balcony and staircase has been redone.

The hangar will regain its role by housing a flotilla of five old boats from the Pontoise Patrimoine association.

A project to restore a pontoon is also being considered.

The inauguration will take place on Saturday, September 21, at 11:30 a.m., 45 bis, quai Eugène-Turpin.
