The second race of the Challenge Granit Marchois will start in Saint-Germain-Beaupré this Wednesday, May 1st.

Sunday April 14 in Aigurande, 56 runners from the Open 3 and Access categories were present for the big start of the first Granit Marchois, a new sporting challenge initiated by the FFC Departmental Committee of Creuse.

The race was run at a high pace, just over 40 km/h. The three winners, Bertrand Hulo (Châteauneuf-sur-Loire) in Open 3, Raphaël Fracasso (MG Vélo Montluçon) in Access 1 and 2, and Nicolas Dupont (Aumance Tronçais Cyclisme) in Access 3 and 4, should be keen to come defend their leadership coat this Wednesday, May 1, in Saint-Germain-Beaupré.

Le Granit Marchois: a new challenge to relaunch local cycling in Creuse

The race, organized by the Vélo-Club de La Souterraine, will take place on a 5.1 km circuit to be covered 16 times, or 81.6 km. Bibs from 12:30 p.m. at Place de l’Église, departure at 2:30 p.m.
Cups and bouquets to the winners of the 3 categories Open 3, Access 1 and 2, Access 3 and 4 as well as to the 1st female. Prices and bonuses.
