A great victory for Valdois users!

On Wednesday April 24, 2024, a meeting took place in L’Isle-Adam (Val d’Oise), between several local elected officials, the company Keolis and representatives of Idfm (Île-de-France mobility, the emanation of the Regional Council in charge of transport, editor’s note).

Line maintained

During this meeting, Valérie Pécresse, the president (Lr) of the Île-de-France Region, announced good news: the former bus line 30-36 will be restored to its operation before mid-May.

“The objective [de cette réunion] was to be able to discuss the points raised in the restructuring of the offer which has been implemented in recent days in the territory, and collectively find the best solution for users of the bus network, explains Idfm. For the specific case of line 13-16 (ex-30-36), the initial route will be restored. Idfm asked Keolis to communicate as soon as possible to inform users of this line. The operator is committed to implementing the return of the line as soon as possible, by the end of May. The president of Idfm also requested the establishment of a monitoring committee with local authorities in order to ensure that requests for correction best meet residents’ expectations. All options can be studied there, such as the implementation of on-demand transport. »

User demonstration

Reminder: on April 8, 2024, the old line 30-36 which connected L’Isle-Adam to the Montsoult-Maffliers Sncf station was replaced by another line renamed 13-16 and whose new terminus was located at the station Sncf de Presles.

The route and passage times of Keolis buses, the new delegate, had been modified. A decision which created incomprehension and anger among users and certain elected officials in the municipalities crossed by this line. The latter had expressed their dissatisfaction on April 8, in Nerville-la-Forêt.

When the reestablishment of the “30-36” was announced, it was a time of relief for users. “We are euphoric, we didn’t believe it,” breathes Cassandre Desbarbieux, member of the Collectif 30-36 association. We hope that bus times will also be restored. Our association will also be present in the monitoring committee. For us, this line is essential. We demonstrated on Sunday (April 21th) at the L’Isle-Adam market and residents did not know that with line 30-36, you could be in Paris in an hour. »

To respond to needs

On the side of the elected officials concerned, in particular those of the community of communes of the Vallée de l’Oise et des Trois-Forêts (Ccvo3F), we are also delighted with the restoration of the line.

“I had confidence in Idfm’s reaction,” assures Sébastien Poniatowski, the mayor (Lr) of L’Isle-Adam and president of the Ccvo3F. We relayed user requests and clarified several points. Idfm is committed to meeting these needs. The 30-36 has been around for twenty years. It’s a line taken by working people and it has real meaning for our territory. »
