Ae-la: free exhibition and performances by Cathy Cocat

Ae-la is not just an exhibition. Between the works of art, there are performances by artists and visual and sound installations. From September 26 to October 1, Cathy Cocat awaits you in the heart of , at the Vitrines Les Arches Citoyennes.

Cathy Cocat presents to you Ae-la, a performance and installation bringing together five performers, a musician, a visual, sound and olfactory installation. From September 26 to October 1, 2024, The free exhibition can be discovered a stone’s throw from the City Hall at the Les Arches Citoyennes showcases.

But what awaits you at the exhibition? Ae-la of Cathy Cocat ? Of the performers will evolve in abstract settings inspired by portraits of artists in which a musician will embody the vibration. To create these portraits, five artists participated in sessions of meditation and visualization, opening the door to other realities. These works result from the fusion of stories, fabrics, paintings and prints, abstract and born from meditative journeys towards new forms.

Graduated from Fine Arts of then from the school of Berlin Arts, Cathy Cocat draws her inspiration from the metaphysics of the living. The artist designs “temple sculptures”, “living works”, performances or conscious journeys that explore inner universes and facets of oneself. In 2019, she obtained a diploma in art therapy while training with energy practitioners. Her creative approach was transformed, integrating new tools such as intuition, intention and meditation.

If the free exhibition is open from September 26 to October 1, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., the opening will take place on September 27 at 7 p.m. On October 30 and 1, it is also possible to make appointments for visits and meditation-visualizations. Ae-la of Cathy Cocat awaits you at 4 rue Saint-Martin in the 4th arrondissement.
