Seven individuals involved in a drug trafficking in the sector of Ploërmel (Morbihan) were questioned by the gendarmes Tuesday April 16, 2024. Large quantities of drugs were seized.

“These people were placed in police custody as part of this trafficking which generated quite significant profits for the dealers, given the large sum of money discovered,” communicates squadron leader Frédéric Monpierre, commander of the Ploërmel gendarmerie company.

“The searches led to the discovery of more than 20 kilos of cannabis resin, as well as several dozen grams of other products, notably cocaine,” said the commander. Vehicles reported stolen were also discovered.

The seizures of criminal assets made it possible to confiscate several German vehicles as well as several motorcycles.
