After a civil marriage celebrated last June, Pierre-Alexis Bizot, known under the pseudonym Domingo, and his wife organized a ceremony this weekend in the Cévennes, in the presence of 85 guests. The location of the event was mentioned indirectly during a “Popcorn” show, broadcast on Twitch, during which Domingo received the singer Julien Doré, originally from the region. The two men suggested that the party took place near Alès, without giving further details. According to our information, the wedding took place at the Comptoir Saint-Hilaire, a former 17th century sheepfold transformed into a reception area, run by Méryl Ricome and Isabelle Georges.
Not everything went as planned
Although he has no particular connection with the Gard, the thirty-year-old Parisian chose this region for its warm, pleasant weather. But Pierre-Alexis’ guests and his wife were ultimately confronted with the violent wind present on the Alès basin last Saturday, the day of the celebration. The streamer initially joked about this unforeseen event last Tuesday, recounting: “In the Gard we thought it would be 45 degrees, we even bought fans at the last minute. In the end we had gusts of 80km/h and a perceived temperature of 7 degrees at 11pm.” Bad luck.
