The trailer of a heavyweight caught fire this Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in the morning, before 8 a.m., on theA1 motorway near Senlis, towards Lille, in Oise.
A fire which caused a cloud of smoke on the A1, causing problems for motorists.
A1 motorway closed towards Lille
Faced with this unforeseen event, Sanef has taken the decision to close a section of the A1 to traffic, near Senlis. corks were formed in this sector, in the Paris-Lille direction, over more than 3 km.
“The two right lanes are still closed to traffic. The truck was on fire but has been turned off“The teams are still working to make the two right lanes accessible, be careful,” Sanef warns on its airwaves at 8 a.m.
Emergency services were on site in the morning. Traffic should soon return to normal.
