“I am a traveling bookseller. That is to say, I have a truck that I have fitted out and with which I travel to towns that are within 30 kilometers of my home. I will present the books in places where there is not necessarily a bookstore. The goal is to bring reading to people who are not used to going to bookstores,” explains Elisabeth.

Before taking this career path, the bookseller had another professional life. Elisabeth worked for several decades in another field. “I worked for 29 years in insurance and it was not the same thing at all. I have always been passionate about reading. When I was little, I wanted to be a bookseller or a horticulturist and, at 58, I chose books.”

Following a redundancy, she finally decided to make her dream come true. She then trained at the bookstore school and decided to go and meet her readers in the Drôme.

Practical.
She is present every Tuesday morning in Peyrins, Tuesday afternoon in Cornas, Thursday afternoon in Châteauneuf-sur-Isère, Friday afternoon in Beaumont-lès-, Saturday morning in Saint-Marcel-lès-Valence and Sunday morning in Génissieux.
