The real estate figures for Maine-et- were revealed on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, by the Notaires du Grand Anjou, the name of the interdepartmental chamber of notaries in the department.

For an old apartment in Maine-et-Loire, the median price per m² will be €2,830 in 2024, compared to €1,670 in 2014. You will have to pay €4,020/m² this year for a new apartment, compared to €2,920 ten years ago. Between 2014 and 2024, the price of an old house rose from €147,000 to €195,000.

The profile of buyers

Over the last year, the study by notaries in Maine-et-Loire highlights a drop in the median price per m² of old apartments in (€1,810), compared to €3,190 in for example (stable trend). In these two main cities in the department, the median sale price of an old house will come to €188,000 and €309,000 respectively.

Regarding the profile of buyers, we mainly find intermediate professions (31%), who are largely from Maine-et-Loire (75%) and who are between 30 and 39 years old (25%).
