Construction of the second college in zone B in Sanou-Senegal: the diaspora supports the project

In a remarkable show of solidarity, the diaspora is providing financial support for the construction project of the second middle school in zone B in the commune of Yarang, department of Goudomp. This significant gesture represents a first step towards the realization of this project long awaited by the local community.

This weekend, Toulou Mané, representative of the diaspora based in Switzerland, made an initial contribution that could enable the purchase of a ton of cement. This symbolic gesture, although modest in appearance, illustrates the commitment and determination of these zone B nationals based abroad to support the development of their community of origin.

According to Mr. Mané, this construction project is of crucial importance because it will put an end to the long daily trips made by children in the area to study. Indeed, the creation of this second college will offer young people a more accessible learning opportunity adapted to their needs, thus contributing to strengthening the educational fabric of this border area with Guinea Bissau.

The initiative committee responsible for supervising the project warmly welcomed this contribution from the diaspora. Kéba Mansaly, treasurer of the committee, expressed his gratitude to the members of the diaspora for their generosity and their commitment to their community of origin. He also took the opportunity to launch an urgent appeal to goodwill and the competent authorities to ensure the rapid completion of this vital project.

Mr. Mansaly stressed the importance of finalizing the administrative procedures necessary for the creation of the college as quickly as possible. He urged local authorities to pay particular attention to this matter so that the project can be completed before the next school year, thus providing children in zone B with a safe educational environment conducive to their development.

In short, this diaspora initiative demonstrates a true spirit of solidarity and unity towards their community of origin. This generous gesture constitutes valuable encouragement for the realization of the second college project, thus demonstrating the strength and determination of a united community in the pursuit of its educational and social development.
