Many anonymous voices from musicians report on the unusual situation that has been playing out since yesterday in rehearsal at the Verbier Festival: instrumentalists who stop, disoriented in the face of the maestro of the day, Placido Domingo, who does not seem to have mastered much. The program which is to be presented this very evening to the public – the Symphony No. 5 by Tchaikovsky, the Concerto No. 3 by Beethoven with the pianist Maria João Pires and theOpening of Coriolanus – does not seem placed under the best auspices, despite the expected stars…
