On July 4, on the quays of the Seine, in the middle of the models of the Chanel haute couture show, a flat-coated retriever made its entry into the large family of crested canines of fashion.
No doubt it was a walk like any other for this flat-coated retriever. Except that that day, all eyes were on him. This black dog with silky hair, held on a leash by a model dressed in a long red tweed jacket, thus advanced, stopping from time to time to sniff the cobblestones painted in pink on the banks of the Seine, under the attentive eye of the photographers, and softened by the guests. He became the star of the show, a figure in the “Parisian postcard” decor chosen by the brand for the presentation of its fall-winter 2023/2024 haute couture collection.
