A rare cancer
The 42-year-old Belgian announced last October that she had a rare cancer of the adrenal gland, adrenocortical carcinoma, for which she underwent emergency surgery in mid-August 2023.
Last April, she shared the announcement of her complete remission, specifying that she was still under treatment and under very high surveillance. “The battle is not over. I am under very high surveillance and treatment, but I have a spirit of steel. What am I saying! A joy of life worthy of a princess who would talk to birds!”, she wrote on Instagram.
