The Association for Music of Popular Tradition in Quercy (AMPTQ) will hold its general assembly this Saturday, January 25, at 5 p.m., in the Maxou village hall. This will be an opportunity to take stock of the past year, rich in various events, and to present your projects.
Aperitif offered and shared buffet (out of the basket) then make way for dance!
In the first part, at 8:30 p.m., students from Gigouzac and Saint-Pierre-Lafeuille schools will present the traditional dances recently learned. At 9 p.m., Fabienne Vilate will offer an introduction time to Occitan Dances for Children and Adults. The “Amtpécaïres”, musicians and singers of the association, will take over from 9:30 p.m. for a trad’qui ball will be extended by a scene open to all musicians. Bring your instruments!

Free for children under 18. Free participation for parents of school children. This evening is organized in partnership with the Maxou Festival Committee and the schools of the Gigouzac and Saint-Pierre-Lafeuille educational group.
