“It’s an eccentric idea, a real change”

Guest of the British show “The Graham Norton Show” on the BBC with, coincidentally, Rami Malek who played Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody”, having revived the fashion for musical biopics, Robbie Williams spoke about this unexpected choice: “ We realized we needed to do something different from other biopics. He said, “Are you sure.” “A monkey?” I replied “. So he had to make some adjustments: “ At the time, I was a different person, with a different way of thinking, like Gary. In this film it comes to the surface, it's super weird and I can understand how traumatic it can be. And everyone else I stab in the back [dans le film]I fuck them “.
