In Guingamp, the Breton leisure center open from February 10 to 21

The Ti ar Vro Breton leisure center will be open from February 10 to 21. It is located in the premises of the old Castel Pic school and is aimed at children aged 3 to 12 years old. The first week will have a carnival theme. The second will take children on a journey to discover the continents, particularly through gastronomy. “Meals will be made with the children. Anything raw can be cut by them. We will use Breton a lot in everyday life. We’re going to cook together. We’re going to tinker together,” says Luce Guenet, the director of the leisure center and facilitator in Breton. Vonig Fraval will serve as deputy director. A program of activities will be established but it may evolve according to the children’s expectations.

These two weeks will be punctuated by several outings, to the swimming pool and to the cinema. On February 14, at 2 p.m., children will go to the Les Korrigans cinema for the screening of the animated film “Asterix and the Domain of the Gods” in Breton. This session will be open to the public. This leisure center can accommodate 24 children, including 14 under the age of 6. It will operate with three qualified facilitators and two interns.
