“It’s hard to remember, because we filmed two years ago, began Caitriona Balfe, laughing. But we had to say goodbye to one of our beautiful horses. And, when we were filming at Lallybroch, Sam and I had our backs to this horse, called Sleepy, and, unfortunately, he happened to have a little bit of a stomach ache. So Sleepy repainted the entire back of our costumes with something you don’t really want to know.” And his partner Sam Heughan added: “At least it was pretty accurate historically.”
