a transparent “watch box” signed L’Epée 1839

The Swiss manufacturer has unveiled a luxury case in which to house its favorite timepieces

It is known for its exceptional watchmaking creations, whether it is a hot air balloon clock for Louis Vuitton, racing cars for Tiffany & Co or strange machines co-signed with MB&F.
The L’Épée 1839 manufacture recently joined the LVMH group, hence the presence of the Delémont house for the first time at LVMH Watch Week. For 185 years, it has designed and produced high-end mechanical creations, kinetic sculptures imagined, co-designed, developed and manufactured in-house, from their initial design to their final assembly.

In New York, the manufacture unveiled an unexpected creation: a Watch Box, a transparent case highlighting not only the timepiece it houses, but also its own mechanism. Inspired by the complex movements of high-end mechanical watches, it incorporates visible gears and levers evoking the mechanical movement of a timepiece. A true work of mechanical art.
With a simple press of a button, this Watch Box comes to life: its mechanical system then delicately opens the case while raising the timepiece. By closing the lid, the internal mechanism automatically winds up. This luxury Watch Box is designed to operate without the need for manual winding.
