From April 25 to May 18, the Basilica of Saint-Denis, a historic monument known as the tomb of the Kings and Queens of France, hosts Queens’ Night, an immersive show to (re)discover the history of those who marked the Basilica over the centuries.
After being sold out on their show Beauty and the Beastpresented at the Château de Maisons-Laffitte, in November and December 2024 and enjoyed great success on the first edition of the show in Saint-Denis, the production company Polaris is signing a second season around Queens’ Night, its emblematic show within the Basilica of Saint-Denis (93).
SO, from April 25, 2025 and for four weekends in April and May, experience an immersion in the heart of the history of the Basilica by participating in Queen’s Nightan interactive event during which the Basilica is transformed. In total, more than 300 actors, dancers et volunteer extras will allow this immersion to be experienced by the public, who will thus discover the different stages of construction of the basilica through the portrait of six women, six Queens who marked this historic monument, from the year 250 to the Revolution.
Costumes, accessories, sets, actors: take part in this unusual adventure, to immerse yourself in History in the most interactive – and immersive – way possible! Also don’t miss the famous ballgiven at the end of each performance, in honor of the spire of the Basilicawhose reconstruction is beginning. This is the opportunity to discover in the most beautiful way the most famous Basilicas in the North of Paris, known to be the tomb of the Kings and Queens of France.
-If you would like to become a volunteer, registrations are open! Everyone can be a volunteer, from 8 to 99 years old with diverse and varied roles. Dancers, extras, actors, backstage… There is something for everyone and you can get involved according to your desires and your availability.
