500 participants registered to run on the sand of the beach, dunes, and forest trails on Sunday January 25.

The 4th edition of the Trail du Boivre organized by theABCSE athletics will take place on Saturday January 25. The first departure will be given at 6:30 p.m. after dark, at the Pointeau nautical base.

An atypical journey

Always more success for the Boivre trail! 333 people registered for the 15km, and 166 for the 8km, compared to 430 in total last year. “For this fourth edition, we are once again offering two modified courses, each 1 kilometer longer for the same price, compared to the previous edition! The 7 km increases to 8 km and the 14 km becomes a 15 km which crosses the Pierre Attelée forest. We wanted to fully exploit the variety of landscapes and surfaces that the Brévin coastline offers. There will be sand, climbs and descents but not only that… » specify the organizers. And all at night, and in autonomy. Around sixty volunteers, mainly members of ACBSE Athletics, came together to organize this event. Around fifty of them will line the route to guide the trail runners. Spectators will also be welcome to encourage them during their effort!
