A Franco-Swedish couple combining ethereal poetry and pointillist pop, Marie Modiano and Peter von Poehl unveiled their second album in August 2024, Capri, Ballad of the Spirits. A musical project born following an invitation to participate in the first edition of the Capri Art Festival in September 2021. For this new creation, the duo composed songs and wrote poems performed in the garden of Villa Lysis, in the form of ‘a big “seance» musical and dreamlike, summoning all the great characters and emblematic artists of the mythical island. As part of the 5th edition of We Loft Music, they will celebrate the majesty of Isola Azzurra on a soundtrack enhanced by the groove of drummer Larry Mullins and superb brass arrangements.
Concert on January 22 at 8 p.m. at the Cave aux Poètes in Roubaix.
