After two divorces, Charlotte Casiraghi’s ex-husband no longer believes in fairy tales!
Separated from Charlotte Casiraghi in February 2024, Balthazar’s father takes stock of his love life. Although he is hardly used to private confidences, film producer Dimitri Rassam explained to “Paris Match” that he now had a different approach to romantic relationships.
For the ex-husband of Caroline of Monaco’s daughter, therefore, “with age, we change our outlook on love”. And he draws on his two experiences to affirm: “I no longer believe in total and permanent fusion in a couple.”
“In our family, romantic, friendly and professional ties, it is necessary to revisit what we have achieved. We control so little, we have to accept it,” says wisely the man who produced the great 2024 box office success, “The Count of Monte Cristo”.
-“Fairy tales do not exist in reality, but we must continue to believe in great love stories. In a marriage, we know that there will be trials, but when we are young, we are not fully aware of them,” underlines the 43-year-old producer.
However, of his divorces, he does not want to “talk about failure when you have had a strong love story and have wonderful children”. However, he acknowledges having been “altered by what we experience”, and, he adds “the questioning is dizzying”.
Dimitri Rassam therefore does not regret his “love choices”, but can “question (his) behavior”. Those close to him, to whom he had admitted “having lost control”, now say of him that he is “more attentive” and “knows what he wants”.
“In a couple, it is necessary to manage to preserve what is beautiful whatever happens,” believes Carole Bouquet’s son, who admits: “My greatest anxiety is not the fear of failure, it’s the fear of experiencing nothing.”
