Complaint against Blake Lively: Taylor Swift allegedly pressured Justin Baldoni to change the script of “Never Again”

The actor and director files a lawsuit for defamation and extortion, for more than 400 million US dollars, against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and their publicist.

In the 179-page legal document, seen by TMZ, he complains that he was pressured by Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift – Blake Lively’s best friend – to accept one of the rewrites of the film.

He assures that during the pre-production phase, Blake Lively asked to “rewatch” the scene from the film on the rooftops, where her character Lily Bloom meets Ryle Kincaid, played by Justin Baldoni, for the first time.

The complaint states that Justin Baldoni was “reluctant” to let her “rewrite this key scene,” but that he “agreed to take a look at what she had come up with.”

He maintains that his version was “radically” different from the original version. After her “very slight resistance,” Blake Lively reportedly “stayed silent for several days,” later texting to say that her reaction to her rewrite “wasn’t very good for me,” noting that Ryan Reynolds and “a another mega-famous friend” agreed with her.

Another text message in the file reveals that the “influential and wealthy” friend is Taylor Swift.

Ryan Baldoni claims he was “summoned” to a meeting with Ryan Reynolds, then Taylor Swift showed up and “started praising Lively’s storyline.”

“Justin Baldoni got the message: he had to comply with Lively’s guidelines for the storyline,” the complaint states.

Another text message from Blake Lively to Justin Baldoni was reportedly threatening: “If you ever watch Game of Thrones [Le Trône de fer]you will understand that I am Khaleesi and that, like her, I have a few dragons. For better or for worse, but usually for the better. Because my dragons also protect those for whom I fight. In fact, we all enjoy my magnificent monsters. You will benefit from it too, I can promise you that.”
