Vote for your favorite manga during this pop culture event organized by the Department

The Loiret Department is organizing this year the 10th edition of the “MangaLoiret” pop culture festivalon the theme “H²O, sources of life”.

From January 20 and until April 25, 2025, middle school students keen on Japanese comics from Loiret are asked to vote for their favorite manga, on loiretek.fr, among a
selection of four different titles.

The results revealed during the “Ozélir! »

Among the four different titles offered, middle school students will be able to choose between:

• « Amanchu » de Kozue Amano
• « Deep sea aquarium magmell » de Kiyomi Sugishita
• “The island between two worlds” d’Asuka Ishii
• “The secret of the blue scales” de Yoko Komari

To vote, go to loiretek.fr. The announcement of the results will take place in May during the Festival « Ozélir! »

In 2024, 810 middle school students participated

Initiated in 2013 by the Department, the “MangaLoiret” literary prize aims to develop the cultural openness of young Loirétains, their relationship to reading and the book object in all its forms, by promoting a literary offer around manga and the manga “Blitz” by Cédric Biscay won the 10th edition.

The Loiret Departmental Media Library supports the development of the operation
from participating libraries and colleges by making available to their
