Last year, 511,309 people passed through the doors of the four Émeraude cinemas structures (Dinan, Dinard, La Richardais and Chateaubriant). This increase of 4.38% in 2024 is expected to continue with regard to 2025 films.

“The results of the Émeraude cinémas group reflect a reassuring year in 2024 and have shown encouraging signs of the public’s return to cinemas,” analyzes Sigrid Tiberghien, programmer for six years for Émeraude cinémas.

At the La Richardais cinema complex, which has seven screens, this resulted in an increase in attendance of 4.75% (+8,000 spectators), with a total of 170,794 admissions. We think we can exceed 180,000 entries this year.

As for Dinard and its two cinemas with arthouse programming, Émeraude cinémas is facing “a slight decline with 49,738 admissions in 2024 compared to 51,700 in 2023. Nevertheless, this remains within our stabilization objectives of at least 45,000 entries per year.
