Biathlon | The intolerable race of Lou Jeanmonnot

The day after Emilien Claude's filthy podium in the individual biathlon in Ruhpolding, the women in turn completed this race alone. And Lou Jeanmonnot couldn't help but cause us even more harm than the day before.

Lou Jeanmonnot and biathlon, a very sad combo

Forget the 20 endless kilometers covered by the men the day before, the female biathletes had on the program a no less odious 15 kilometer circuit to complete. If the program makes you dizzy just by mentioning it, it's nothing compared to Lou Jeanmonnot's disastrous performance.

Starting with the red bib of the specialty, synonymous with individual leader, the Frenchwoman does absolutely everything to annoy us, both on the skis and behind the rifle. A 20/20 combined with dizzying speed on the skis, and you obtain Lou Jeanmonnot's fourth victory of the season, more than any competitor.

Faced with this affront, even more repugnant than that caused by Émilien Claude among men, we thought that nothing and no one could raise our morale. But that was to know little about Océane Michelon's race. Yet author of a terrible 19/20 shooting, the Frenchwoman fails at the foot of the podium, and brings us a little chocolate to brighten up this gloomy day. Yes, we satisfy ourselves as best we can at the FFL. The rest of the female delegation is also heartwarming; Jeanne Richard (15th), Julia Simon (21st), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (32nd) and Paula Botet (46th) know how to talk to us. But even despite these sweet performances, we cannot forget Lou Jeanmonnot's Marseillaise.
