The people of Carcasson are invited for a dazzling musical evening where the piano and the mandolin dialogue through the ages. Iconic pieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Scarlatti and Ludwig van Beethoven are on the program today at the Jean-Alary theater in Carcassonne. Neapolitan music will be well represented for the occasion with a planned tribute to Beethoven written by Corentin Apparailly.
Julien Martineau, winner of international competitions, stands out for his achievements. Soloist with numerous orchestras, he also devotes himself to record recording, like his latest album with the Orchester national du Capitole de Toulouse. Also a teacher, he transmits his passion for the mandolin. De facto, he remains in contact with luthiers to promote this instrument. Thus allowing him to be part of a rare category of artists: he performs all over the world to introduce the mandolin into the contemporary world.

Julien Martineau therefore returns to the prefectural town of Aude and joins the piano of Sybil Nouguier, concert artist and teacher at the Fabrique des Arts de Carcassonne Agglo. For her part, she completed a teaching career at the Toulouse Conservatory and created a classical music school. With a considerable and talented musical background, Sybil Nouguier is committed to the discovery and promotion of Aude artists. The meeting is set for 8:30 p.m., for an hour and a half of auditory pleasures. For music lovers anyway.
