And “facilitator” for recycling and revaluation

“The concept behind Eightyards is strategically part of Hugo Boss’ global commitment to production processes that respect the environment and resources”indicates the group which aims to make this project one of the main “facilitators” in the field of recycling and reuse of surplus materials, particularly textiles.

This launch is in line with Hugo Boss’s sustainable development strategy, which notably intends to produce 80% of its clothing in a circular manner by 2030.

Among the other companies to have openly launched structures dedicated to the management of their surplus materials, we can notably cite Nona Source, created as part of the intrapreneurship program of the luxury group LVMH. In addition to marketing its surplus to fashion and design professionals, Nona Source has also co-signed fashion collections in collaboration with Monoprix Atelier, Patine, Hast and Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.

In addition to the fashion sector, Eightyards also intends to collaborate with stakeholders working in other industries.
