Gérard Jugnot, Zaho de Sagazan, Jean-Paul Rouve… The Alpe d’Huez Festival opens in style

The opening ceremony of the Alpe d'Huez Festival was held this Monday, January 13, at an altitude of 1,800 meters, in the company of numerous figures of French cinema and passionate celebrities. After the very moving tribute from Gérard Jugnot and Marie-Anne Chazel to their late friend Michel Blanc, the evening continued with the screening of the film “God Save the Tuche” in the presence of its director Jean-Paul Rouve .

For this 28th edition, the jury is chaired by actress Elsa Zylberstein. Delighted by this role, she confided during the press conference: “The Alpe d'Huez Festival brought me luck, it spoiled me since it offered me two acting prizes! So, when I was asked to be president of this new edition, I was totally enthusiastic. I am looking forward to watching films, going on a trip, in this snowy and soft cocoon, conducive to exchanges, meetings and art, surrounded by a wonderful jury! »

This famous jury which will help Elsa Zylberstein to award the prizes at the end of the Festival is made up this year of directors Gustave Kervern and Ken Scott, actresses Noémie Saglio and Izïa Higelin as well as actor Tom Leeb. Just before going on stage, these cinema lovers came to pose for a few moments at the event's photocall. For the occasion, other guests joined in with the crackling of cameras.

A highly anticipated festival

Every year, the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival brings together many celebrities and distinguished guests. From January 13 to 19, numerous screenings, masterclasses, debates and meetings will be offered to enthusiasts who come to learn more about the 7th art.

On the list, the actors Tomer Sisley and Bertrand Usclat, the comedian Caroline Vigneaux as well as the singer Zaho de Sagazan, not far from the former Miss Laury Thilleman.
