Pibrac. Jacques Carbès and Serge Gazzetta exhibit together at TMP

From January 7 to 19, the hall of the Théâtre de la Maison du Peuple (TMP) is hosting an exceptional exhibition bringing together two artists with distinct but complementary worlds: Jacques Carbès and Serge Gazzetta.

Jacques Carbès, inspired by Asian painting, presents a series of figurative or semi-abstract landscapes created either in pure watercolor or in a mixed technique mixing watercolor and Indian ink. While watercolor offers infinite shades, ink offers precise contours. This combination creates a subtle and poetic harmony, where the fluidity of the colors dialogues with the precision of the lines.

For his part, Serge Gazzetta invites you to discover his works which fit into his varied favorite themes: landscapes, seascapes, street scenes and bouquets of flowers. Also, fascinated by Venice, the artist revealed several paintings dedicated to the city of the Doges, as well as canvases evoking the beauty of urban scenes and various landscapes.

Open free of charge to all, this exhibition where the delicacy of techniques and the richness of inspirations come together for the pleasure of art lovers has already delighted the many Pibracais who came for the mayor’s greeting ceremony on Saturday 11th.

To discover without delay in the lobby of the Théâtre musical de Pibrac (TMP) 40 rue Principale, during opening hours. Telephone TMP: 05 61 07 12 11
