In the middle of a trial for accusations of domestic violence, Stéphane Plaza defended himself while admitting to having tried to end his life.
Stéphane Plaza is accused by two of his former partners of domestic violence. According to the complainants, the TV star host allegedly engaged in physical and psychological violence when they were in a relationship.
The host of Search apartment or house has, however, always denied the accusations of violence. Thursday January 9, 2025, Stéphane Plaza appeared at the Paris court to reiterate his words:

To defend himself against such accusations, Stéphane Plaza spoke of his dyspraxia, “ a disruption in the ability to perform certain voluntary gestures and activities », explains the site action.

“I assert that the complainants are lying. Since the affair came out, I have had a lot of chest pain. On December 22 I went out on the balcony, I wanted to get it over with. I told myself if I jump, people will say that I am guilty, and I came back down.”
According to the people present in court that day, Stéphane Plaza would have been particularly moved. He would also have mentioned his chosen ousting from Les Grosses Têtes on RTL as well as the drop in his income since the affair broke out.
Eighteen months suspended prison sentence was requested against Stéphane Plaza. The court's final decision will be made later.
