When Jupiter Meets the Prime Minister to illuminate the Guinean Scene

Conakry, January 10, 2025 – Since his move to Guinea a year ago, the composer and singer Ibrahima Bah, better known as Jupiter, has multiplied initiatives to boost the local cultural industry. Recently, he met Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah to present his ambitious cultural project aimed at promoting Guinea.

With its innovative concept called “Faabelan”, Jupiter offers an entertainment program which includes large-scale shows and tourist circuits. The objective is clear: to propel Guinea to the forefront of the international scene thanks to an attractive cultural offer.

Jupiter’s project received a favorable response from two other emblematic figures of Guinean music. Moustapha Camara, alias “Mousto”, and Pathé Moloko, known as “Sanakouyagal”, joined the initiative. These artists, equally determined to promote the Guinea destination, wish to use their art to strengthen love and social cohesion within the population.

Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah warmly encouraged these cultural figures to fully exploit their creative potential in collaboration with other players in the sector. “This open and ambitious country must regain its former place on an artistic and sporting level,” he said. For Bah Oury, artists and athletes represent the best ambassadors of a country, particularly among young people.

This initiative is part of a broader vision of redefining Guinean cultural identity, with the ambition of projecting a positive and dynamic image on the international scene. Artists like Jupiter, Mousto and Sanakouyagal are now establishing themselves as pillars of a new cultural era in Guinea.
