In Morlaix, first jam session of the year, at the Deux-Rivières bar, Sunday January 19

Sunday January 19, 2025, at 6 p.m., the first in a long series of jam sessions, organized by the Arthus Jazz association, will await music lovers at the Deux-Rivières bar, in Morlaix, as part of a partnership between these two associative structures. A jam session is an improvised open stage in which different musicians can join. The public present discovers live how musicians, who sometimes do not know each other or have never played together, exchange and improvise in turn.

Workshops, concert and annual festival

Created in July 2023 in Saint-Jean-du-Doigt by jazz enthusiasts, Arthus Jazz organizes, throughout the year in the Pays de Morlaix, concerts, workshops, as well as a festival in the month of august. For this first session of the year, the Stéphane Fernandez Trio will open, with Stéphane Fernandez, composition, guitar and voice; Bertrand Seynat, on double bass, and Joe-Neil Solan, on drums. The other jazz musicians present that evening will take over.
