Friday January 10, 2025, the elected officials of Clohars-Carnoët presented their wishes to the municipal staff. This meeting was an opportunity for Mathieu Mennad, the general director of services who succeeded Krystel Morice, to take stock of the year 2024. A delicate operation, because he has been in office for three months but he noted the challenge by following a common thread.

The professional insisted on “the general interest in serving the population while respecting three principles: equality in this service, its continuity and its adaptability. » He shared with the public what struck him: “The dynamics of the services, their development, the investment of the agents, their vitality and their energy. »

Ambitions for 2025

Mathieu Mennad then reviewed all the actions for 2024 including the cohesion day, the quality of the teams’ working conditions, and social dialogue. He spoke of “resource management, an integral part of the equation and the new constraints that will weigh on communities, choices will be necessary. »

Before deploying the 2025 projects: work with staff representatives (better monitoring of schedules, leave, development of internal communication, training on the theme of professional equality and the fight against discrimination), an inter-school day, the evolution of the postal agency, the diagnosis of the buildings in Saint-Maurice, the respite stop, the opening of the Pouldu workshop this summer.

Jacques Juloux, the mayor, greeted the communes: “You are a collective force. » The chief magistrate pointed out notable events of the past year: the changeover of the polling stations “well accepted by the voters”, the success of the game festival (3,000 people), young people at the Olympics, a star at the Michelin guide, before concluding: “2024 was a serene year”.
