Jean Tariech, 22 years old, composer and producer of film music, has one foot in the film industry. With already some achievements to his credit, he intends to continue his career across the Atlantic.

The first musical notes of Christopher Nolan’s brilliant film “” changed Jean’s destiny forever. The native, a young pianist already crowned with prizes, was barely 14 years old. The original soundtrack “orchestral and epic” signed by the incomparable Hans Zimmer convinces him of one thing: “Making a career in film music composition.”

Eight years later, this child of the Catalan country, Jean Tariech by his artistic name, can say it: “I am a composer and producer of orchestral music, film music, cinema trailers and music for events.” What’s more, in the cradle of American cinema, in Hollywood, “a neighborhood of which I had posters in my bedroom as a child.”

To continue his journey in Los Angeles, where the news revolves less around the 7th art than the terrible flames which besiege it, the young man, based in Westwood but for the moment in , is in the process of do everything possible to obtain your artist visa. The key to composing again and again for sports channel Fox Sports and audio production company Alloy Tracks: “My dream is to hear my music in Marvel or Disney trailers.”

“What I do is very specialized. I collaborated with Ciaran Birch, the composer of the trailer for “Avengers: Endgame”. Impressed by my writing style, he told me I had a future in movie trailers.
