One of the actors in the film could be the next James Bond

Released on August 3, 2022, Bullet Train is an action comedy film directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2, The Fall Guy…). Adapted from the novel of the same name, it follows five hitmen who find themselves on the Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train) who each have a mission to complete. One of them, Coccinelle, is unlucky and in the middle of an existential crisis. However, his mission seems simple: retrieve a suitcase from the Shinkansen, and get off at the next stop. But with so many criminals on the same train, the mission will turn out to be much more perilous than expected.

With casualness and a stunning look, Brad Pitt embodies the protagonist of Bullet Train. But he is not the only one, since he also gives the reply to Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Michael Shannon or Brian Tyree Henry. And one of the actors of the film almost steals the show, so much so that it was able to secure him the main role of Kraven the Hunter : Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who plays the killer Mandarine. According to British newspapers, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the big favorite to play the next James Bond. According to the Sun, the actor did indeed audition for the role and made a strong impression, and was offered the role last March (information later denied by E News, which said he had not yet received an official offer). While the rumor has never been confirmed, and the actor himself dodges the question on the red carpet, he certainly meets the criteria to get the role: be from the Commonwealth, and possibly be able to commit for several years (he is only in the cast of one upcoming film, 28 years laterwhich is scheduled for release in 2025). In any case, we can easily imagine him in the 007 costume when we see him in Bullet Train. It remains to be seen whether the rumor is confirmed now.
