Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine unveils their debut album Mizane

With “Mizane”, Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine will once again surprise its audience. Each piece has been carefully imagined or re-imagined to create a musical experience that takes you on a journey through revisited pieces with a touch of rock, pop and modern rhythms.

“Mizane” is an album that also reinvents and invents itself around original creations, inspired by the rich Moroccan musical heritage with Western and African influences. Sung in Darija and Amazigh with narration in English, “Mizane” crosses generations and borders, to connect cultures and hearts through music.

Since 2016, Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine has been traveling across Morocco with its interactive concerts, already totaling more than 25 shows.

It’s an adventure lasting almost ten years around an educational and cultural project. The release of their first album is the result of all these years of creation around the first concept in Morocco of workshops for children and families. Little by little, from timpani to drum, from workshops to concerts, the group invested itself in this project, to offer a complete album and a show for young audiences resulting from their experience.
The first show from the album “Mizane” will be presented on the stage of the Sophie Germain school, on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 4 p.m.

On stage, the group is made up of singer and founder of the group Laila Lebbar, guitarist and producer Salim Daima, drummer Martin Seigneur, bassist and oud master Ismael Mehdi Zaamoun.
