Ashton Kutcher isn’t just a hero on the big screen. The actor was filmed, garden hose in hand, fighting the flames devastating a friend’s house during the deadly fires in Los Angeles.

As the out-of-control fires ravaging the region multiply and firefighters run out of steam, many residents have chosen to help by taking matters into their own hands, including the star of That ’70s Show.
Ashton Kutcher did not hesitate to go to the house of his friend Arielle Lorre, the ex-wife of television mogul (and former boss of the actor) Chuck Lorre, to fight against the fire in her garden.
Video shows the 46-year-old celebrity spraying plants outside property in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood caught in a series of fires that have already destroyed tons of homes and businesses.

If using a garden hose may seem insignificant against fires of this magnitude, it seems that this simple gesture on the part of the actor can change the situation, because well-wet plants tend to be less flammable… And In a fire like this, anything that can limit the intensity of the flames is a big help.
The flames ravaging Los Angeles have destroyed more than 1,000 structures and forced the evacuation of more than 80,000 people.
Ashton Kutcher, who has two children with his wife, actress Mila Kunis, owns several properties in Southern California, including a farm in Beverly Hills.
Many celebrities have lost their homes in Palisades, including Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, Ricki Lake and actor couple Adam Brody and Leighton Meester.
