City Flea Market
For the year 2025, the monthly flea market in the Cité district is moving.
Like every second Sunday of the month, the cathedral district hosts its traditional flea market, the Puces de la Cité. The premieres of the year 2025 take place this Sunday, 120 to 130 exhibitors will be there. Small change due to work on the boulevards: some stands will be set up in the Évêché garden.
For Murielle Blain, the organizer, it’s “a blessing in disguise,” she explains on the event’s Facebook page. The change of location was well anticipated by the City of Limoges, it was communicated to exhibitors and regulars quite early. Security and barriers will be easier to put in place. The garden will only accommodate part of the stands, the rest will still be on the square in front of Saint-Étienne Cathedral and in the surrounding streets. Visitors will thus be able to move around more freely.
A paradise for bargain hunters and second-hand dealers, old objects and furniture (never new!) are exhibited by professionals. Small special feature of the January Flea Market: individuals can also have a stand there, upon registration.
Sunday January 12, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Évêché garden and on the square in front of Saint-Étienne Cathedral.
