A recognized choir director leads a singing course near Dieppe

The Saint-Valery choral group, directed by Christine Lapierre and whose president is Véronique Cavalierorganizes a singing weekend every year in the Simone-Veil room of Saint-Pierre-le-Vigera few kilometers from Dieppe (Seine-Maritime).

This year, this choral weekend will be hosted by the talented mezzo-soprano and choir director Marine Friborgoriginally from the city of Ango.

Beginnings in Dieppe

“For us, this is an exceptional event because she started music at Camille-Saint-Saëns conservatoryand performs as a soloist on the European scene mainly in the field of oratorio, a lyrical drama on a generally religious subject and chamber music, confides Dominique Charbonnier, who is in charge of communication for the Choral group of Saint-Valery-en-Caux. His concerts take him across Europe and France, sometimes in his region of origin, for our greatest pleasure.”

This singer also holds a master’s degree in lyrical singing specializing in early music from The Hague Conservatoryto The Netherlandsand a diploma in musical studies in choir conducting from the city of Paris. To top it all off, she has won several prizes in international opera singing competitions.

A recognized choir director

Marine Friborg is also a recognized choir director. She is the founder of the vocal ensemble Bergamo has Paris that she directed 2007 has 2022and she regularly intervenes for one-off projects, choral singing courses or choir conductor training as with theBach Academyhas Arques-la-Batailleand the national network A Coeur Joy.

Living the experience of a choir over the space of a weekend is what this friendly course offers, which provides on-site catering: a dinner on SATURDAY and a lunch Sunday.
