Aziz Shokhakimov, one of the new management stars, is preparing to go on tour in the United States

As he prepares to reach the United States for a tour at the head of large American phalanxes, Aziz Shokhakimov will be, this Thursday, January 9 at 8 p.m., the guest of the Classique newspaper.

He recently caused a sensation at the Philharmonie de at the head of his Philharmonic orchestra but also during his debut with the Paris orchestra. Aziz Shokhakimov is one of the new big management stars.

He is now in demand by prestigious groups around the world and will, this January, be on tour in the United States, at the invitation of the Atlanta, Seattle and Dallas symphony orchestras. He will then meet his Strasbourg musicians from February 14 to 16, at the Opéra du Rhin, for a show around Peer Gynt by Grieg, with texts by Ibsen.

Aziz Shokhakimov made a remarkable debut at the Paris National Opera

The brilliant Uzbek conductor will speak to our microphone this evening about his links with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he has been the musical director for a little over three years. He also tells us about his love for opera, who made his notable debut at the Paris National Opera last season, and about his various upcoming projects.
