This anime returns in a reworked version without fillers, ideal for newcomers and fans wishing to rediscover the anime.

Very very long anime

well that One Piece is one of the longest anime, with more than 1000 episodesthere are several other series that are even longer in terms of number of episodes or total content. For example, Naruto and its sequel Naruto Shippuden together total over 700 episodes, while Bleach, despite having a long hiatus before returning with the season Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,””” has over 350 episodes in total.

However, this is Dragon Ball in its various iterations – Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and even Dragon Ball GT – which holds a considerable number of episodes, with over 600 episodes cumulatively. All of these series therefore have in common that they are long and, inevitably, very difficult to watch for newcomers who have to catch up on decades of content. Fortunately, this other iconic anime has found the solution for its return.

A broadcast with nothing but the necessary

Detective Conan, a cult anime from the 90s, returns in a format ideal for newcomers. You should know that if the anime and the adventures of Conan Edogawa captivated young people as soon as they were broadcast on French channels, its broadcast suffered from a recurring problem: the famous filler episodes. These “filler-in-the-blank” episodes, often disconnected from the main plot and sometimes unnecessary, caused the series to lose pace, sometimes making it difficult to follow the main story. They are all the opposite of the so-called episodes “cannons”, that is to say important and must be followed. This is a challenge for fans of the series, especially since the episodes are sometimes broadcast in a chaotic order, making it difficult to understand the detective thriller that is Detective Conan. Fortunately, a new reworked version of the anime has appeared: the Cut Edition. This lighter version of the fillers finally allows you to (re)discover the series without unnecessary distractions.

And yes, no filler episodes will be distributed. The streaming platform ADN has announced that this Cut Edition will be broadcast from January 29, with a condensed version of the first three seasons in 70 episodes, without any filler. Seasons 4 and 5 will also be shortened at 64 episodes and available from February 26. This new edition offers an ideal opportunity for fans to rediscover Detective Conan, especially those who did not have the patience to follow the series in its original form. Additionally, some episodes have not been broadcast in since 2010, and others have never been shown due to censorship or rights issues. To top it all off, ADN will also offer H+1 broadcasts of new episodes of the series every Saturday, allowing subscribers to follow the adventures of Conan Edogawa in the moment. Well, the only problem is that Gōshō Aoyama’s work is still in progress since 1994 and despite its 106 tomes. In addition, there are also many feature films.
