The actors of the S’Eschauïer Sxhofseckel Theater troupe will perform, from Saturday January 25 at the Centrophylle foyer in Eschau, Erholung in Spanie (“Relaxation in Spain”), a comedy in three acts adapted into Alsatian by Gilbert Huber based on the original play Emma und Emanzipa (“Emma and emancipation”) by Erika Elisa Karg.
In this room, Emma can no longer stand the way her friends, Paulette and Ros’l, are dominated by their husbands. This is why she tries to convince them to take a trip to Spain, just to take a breather. Paulette and Ros’l, too happy to leave home, confront their husbands with a fait accompli and leave with Emma for Las Palmas. Unfortunately, once in Spain, the three women have an unpleasant surprise… And meanwhile, at home, everything is upside down. How will men cope? The public will discover it by going to see the play.
In the first part, six young actors will play a one-act comedy written by Thierry Schmitt With Marik (“On the market”). The market is open, but customers prefer to discuss instead of buying…
The troupe would also like to pay tribute to Bernard Kientz who died on February 18, 2024 at the age of 87: “Former president of the theater and choir of Eschau, Bernard was a notable figure in the theater community. He lit up the stages with his acting talent and touched our hearts as a director and prompter. His theatrical legacy will live on in each of us, inspiring our future. »
