In , 70 years of video game creativity traced through play

Notice to gamers : In the old post office of a few steps from the castle, the largest exhibition of playable video games in Europe is currently taking place. 500 games and a hundred machines retrace the evolution of the tenth art, since the very first game, For Twoinvented in 1958, and the eldest of the arcade terminals, Computer Space of 1971.

These treasures are gathered thanks to the MO5 association dedicated to the preservation of video game heritagewhich organizes guided tours of the exhibition. Retro consoles, colorful controllers, Game Boy…: the return to childhood makes visitors smile, excited to find their favorite mascots (Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog…).

Decades of technological advancement

The exhibition allows, above all, to play creations that have marked history, such as the elementary Pong of 1972 to which the Japanese responded with the no less famous Space Invaders in 1978 (graphic design gem which, as we know, inspired the street artist Invader).
