Lady Gabriella Windsor, touched by Kate's “Christmas gift”

Dressed but with a melancholy look, Lady Gabriella Windsor walks the paths of Westminster Abbey, with gravity but above all with a certain pride. To make this first Christmas without her husband, who died on February 25, less painful, the Princess of Wales, initiator of the annual concert Together at Christmasinsisted that her husband's cousin, Prince William, play a special role. Kate entrusted Gabriella with part of the organization.

The theme of the concert this year? Empathy, kindness and attention to others, especially when they are alone or sick, as Kate was recently. A way to thank her family who rallied around her during her months of chemotherapy. Well-ordered charity begins at home and the Princess of Wales also wanted to extend her hands to Gabriella Windsor.

“She loved her role in organizing the service and was very enthusiastic to be part of it. The princess is incredibly grateful to her for her contribution,” a source told Daily Express. This is evidenced by the entry of “Ella” – Lady Gabriella’s nickname – into the abbey, alongside Carole and Michael Middleton, Kate’s parents.

Very honored to have been thus consulted, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent also has a particular affinity with music. Ella recorded two songs in 2020 to help charity. The circle is closed.
