A new year means a new batch of series to watch, both on television and on broadcast platforms. Here are ten Quebec productions that will hit our screens in 2025.
One guy, one girl (HERE Tou.TV Extra)
Building on the success of the four episodes marking its 25th anniversary in 2023, the legendary series One guy, one girl made its official return in 2024 with ten new episodes. There we found the characters of Guy and Sylvie, now living in a Montreal condo tower, after 20 years spent in the suburbs.
In the new season of 12 episodes, which will be broadcast from January 3 on ICI Tou.tv Extra, the couple moves into another condo in the same building, where Sylvie prefers the sunshine. She decides to run for president of the co-owners association in order to face her rival, Geneviève.
Among other developments to come: Guy will be chosen to be a juror in a case, Sylvie will become a columnist on a morning show and the couple will volunteer at a food bank to relieve the guilt of being well off. A ton of performers make surprise appearances, including Debbie Lynch-White, Martin Perizzolo, Anaïs Favron and Karine Gonthier-Hyndman.

My fault (ICI Télé and HERE Tou.tv Extra)
In My faultnew fiction written by Chantal Cadieux, Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin plays Bérénice, a mediator specializing in restorative justice. Having experienced a brutal attack 25 years ago during a party with her friends, Bérénice finds herself particularly motivated for her work.
The series begins when her attacker is released on parole after 23 years in prison and returns to her life. One person was killed and another was left quadriplegic. Will forgiveness be possible?
The cast also includes Maxim Gaudette, Jessica Barker, Dany Boudreault, Cynthia Wu-Maheux, Sacha Charles and Marie-Thérèse Fortin.

Incredible! (HERE TV)
Comedian Alexandre Barrette goes in search of the most incredible stories in the new humorous variety show Incredible!
Anecdotes as absurd as they are improbable, experienced by people across Canada, will be told by comedians and other artists. The personalities will have carte blanche to deliver the anecdote in their own way, in front of people who themselves experienced the events.

Come to the living room (TVA)
Jean-Michel Anctil slips into the shoes of an embalmer in the series Come to the living rooma new comedy that he imagined with Louis-Philippe Dandenault and Maxime Caron. The comedian and actor plays Daniel Ostiguy, a real virtuoso of the remains
who, however, is struggling to ensure the succession of the family funeral home, which has existed for three generations.

The series Who pushed Melody? presented by Télé-Québec as its first thriller tinged with black humor
relates an investigation which was inspired by the lack of places in daycare to create a absurd suspense whose story will resonate in several homes

The plot centers around the Académie des ratons, which is recognized as one of the best daycares in Quebec and one of the most popular with parents. Catherine and Francis are delighted when their little Yvonne makes her debut there, until her teacher Mélodie is pushed by a small hand from the top of a staircase, leaving her with serious after-effects.

Chantal Fontaine plays the role of Mélodie, surrounded in particular by Jacques L'Heureux, Catherine Chabot, Jean-Simon Leduc, Annick Bergeron, Leila Thibeault-Louchem and Antoine Yared.

Rematch (Télé-Québec)
Rematch is the first international series produced by Yan England. The psychological thriller, a co-production between France and Hungary, stars British actor Christian Cooke as Russian chess champion Garry Kasparov.
The six-episode miniseries is based on the two matches between Kasparov and Deep Blue, IBM's supercomputer, in 1996 and 1997. A disturbing face-to-face between man and machine that will mark the history of chess and of technology.
The series, written by Yan England and André Gulluni, won the prestigious Grand Prix last March at the Séries Mania television festival in Lille, France.
Starting Tuesday, January 7 at 10 p.m. on Télé-Québec.
Epic (Télé-Québec)
Epic is the new reality show from Télé-Québec, hosted by comedian Ève Côté. For 12 weeks, six teams of three people will compete in a major adventure competition that will test their mental and cognitive abilities. Participants will also have to deal with the moods of Mother Nature, from Charlevoix to the North Shore via Outaouais.
Starting January 10 at 8 p.m. on Télé-Québec.
Double game (Crave)
Comedians Rachid Badouri and Mehdi Bousaidan are the stars of the humorous detective series Double game. When Sergeant Rousseau (Josée Deschênes) loses another double agent to organized crime, she decides to change strategy.
Instead of hiring police officers, she turns to two actors who make their living playing characters at the police academy. Adam and Mounir will have to use their acting talents to infiltrate different criminalized environments.

conductor (HERE Tou.tv Extra)
conductor is a new series written and directed by Stéphane Lafleur (Viking, You are sleeping Nicole). It features, in his own role, Joseph Marchand, a Montreal guitarist who has notably accompanied Ariane Moffatt, Pierre Lapointe and Safia Nolin.
While the musician dreams of launching a first solo album, he is unable to compose, completely demolished by a heartbreak. Supported by his young agent Ariane (Julianne Côté), he will try to go through the five stages of romantic mourning to achieve his goals.
The series also stars Guillaume Cyr, Charlotte Aubin, Larissa Corriveau, Marcel Sabourin, Émile Bilodeau and Michel Rivard.

The actress and photographer Julie Perreault launches into production with her first series, The calla fiction scripted by Luc Dionne (Silence, District 31). This takes us back to 1997 as the biker war reaches its peak with the murder of two prison guards. The series recounts the struggle of investigators from the Carcajou squad and Crown prosecutor France Charbonneau (Magalie Lépine-Blondeau) to put an end to the carnage.
