This Wednesday, December 18, the Fontenelles club held its general meeting in front of 46 club members. This dynamic club has 108 members. Gérard Petit, the president for several years, expressed his thanks for the presence of Christelle Claude, mayor of Serqueux (as well as for the loan of the Raymond-Huard and Léon-Collin village halls for the weekly games); by Philippe Cunin, departmental president of Génération Mouvements, Michèle Bonté-Weinn departmental secretary of Génération Mouvements and Annick Legros, President of the Breuvannes club.
After his thanks, the president asked for a minute of silence for the deceased members: Annie Péchiné, Marie-Rosine Bertrand, André Anciaux, Jean Marchand. Then, he recalled the various events held in 2024, also including the very detailed financial report. This one is very good. Thus, the contribution remains at €23. With this card, insurance is included and allows discounts for club outings. If Gérard Petit informed of a slight drop in attendance at certain events, it joins, as Mr. Cunin clarified, “a general drop for all the associations and clubs in the department”, emphasizing that “Les Fontenelles are the second club in Haute-Marne” (membership, and number of events attended).
Unanimously, the office was renewed and is presented as follows: Gérard Petit, president; Roselyne Auffret, vice-president; Joël Pinot, treasurer; René Didier, Saga referent; Annick Didier, secretary.
The president presented the calendar of 2025 events, numerous and varied as usual: March 8, a tarot competition; March 25, the frog meal in Pesmes (full); on April 25, an outing to Nouba for a show with Claude François' double and a meal (places available); on May 4, a gourmet lotto; on September 27, a belote competition, from October 6 to 13, a cruise in the Mediterranean, Sicily, Balearic Islands, Italy, lasting eight days and seven nights (places available); and finally on October 19, the friendship meal.
For available outings, reservations must be made with Gérard Petit. As always, this general assembly ended with a succulent meal prepared by the local caterer.
